Eastern Vascular Society

Exhibitors and Sponsors

Dear Colleague:

The EVS is excited about its 22nd Annual Meeting which will be held September 18-20, 2008, at the Sheraton Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.

As you know, the Eastern Vascular Society is the largest regional vascular society in the US with over 500 members who are vascular surgeons representing both major academic medical centers and community hospitals in the Eastern part of the US and Canada. One of our major goals this year is to try to be a more industry friendly society and give the exhibitors more exposure to the surgeons of the Eastern Vascular Society.

We are inviting vascular fellows, residents, and young attendings to the meeting. We expect to have one of the largest turnouts ever.  Again this year we will have dedicated sessions for industry which will touch on emerging technologies and what surgeons and interventionalists should expect to be available in the marketplace in the near future. The Endovascular Course will once again be integrated with the Scientific Sessions. Additionally, we are scheduling another Vascular Interpretation Course this year on Saturday afternoon.

The fee for exhibiting will remain at $2,500 for a table-top display. The exhibitor fee includes registration for two company representatives. The scientific program and other information will be available soon.

New this year is the development of a symposium on emerging technology for people with vascular disease. We will give each company 20 minutes to talk on some of the new technology, instrumentation and treatments that are coming out. This should be presented by a physician who has a working knowledge of the emerging technology who can present in a way that would be helpful and useful to both you and society members.
There will be a separate fee for participation in this symposium in the form of a separate $10,000 educational grant. This Symposium will culminate with a “Hands-On” Demonstration during a Scotch Tasting Reception at the Sheraton.

We believe this addition to the program will not only get EVS members more interested in your product but also have them more willing to go to the exhibit room and talk to you about your present and future products. If you are interested in being a part of this symposium, please contact the society as soon as possible as space is limited.

The Society is also offering companies an opportunity to participate as educational sponsors at the Gold level for $7,500 and Silver level for $5,000. To abide by ACCME guidelines, these fees do not include the exhibit fees. Additional benefits for education sponsors will include having your corporate name prominently displayed in the program booklet and during the plenary sessions.

Please review this Exhibitor Prospectus and Sponsorship Opportunities Brochure carefully and return your application as soon as possible as space is limited.
