Junior Surgical Resident and Third Year Medical Student Award
To encourage interest in Vascular Surgery, the Eastern Vascular Society is announcing two awards that will be granted to a Junior Surgical Resident and a third year Medical Student who will submit the best review of a vascular disease case encountered while on a vascular rotation.
Applicants should be from member institutions or located in the Eastern Vascular Society’s geographical area and in the 3rd year of Medical School or 1st-3rd year of residency at the time of submission of the case report.
The paper should be in the format of an interesting case presentation. It should include relevant illustrations as well as a comprehensive review of the literature on the subject presented. Nonoperative, Endovascular, and open operative cases are all acceptable. A cover letter should also be included. Case reports should be no more than 12 pages maximum. Winners will be asked to present their Case report during the EVS meeting in Washington, DC.
